Our decision to bring In House the legal function of our Credit Services work was a high profile decision carrying high expectations. NEXUM delivered their product to our expectations enabling us to complete the project to a high standard.
Conclusion
The results from a recent study established that for a typical debt within the pre-legal stage of collections activity that ultimately resulted in an agreement to pay, the time spent by a collector averaged 2.5 hours. Approximately 30 minutes related to ‘call time’ and 2 hours related to administration. After extensive review we believe that NEXUM can reduce case administration time by 70%, this represents a saving of 84 minutes per case.
During the same study it was calculated that on average a collector spends 11 minutes per case per day, based on a working day this equates to a collector being able to action 40 accounts per day. After a review of the time spent NEXUM could reduce the time spent per case to 6 minutes per case, resulting in the collector being able to action 70 accounts per day.
